I wanted a SOFT sponge, but the picture shows something that looks like a loofa which I didn't want. Fortunately I noticed a comment about soaking it to make it softer. So I bought it and the price is expensive! However ... The sponge dries hard but softens quickly and is a wonderful facial sponge. I really LOVE it and if it lasts then it will be worth the cost. And I repeat - I LOVE this sponge... It feels great in the hand and on your face.
